About the Artist

Hi. I'm Sharon.

I’m a self-taught artist living in Kent Island, Maryland.

I've been creating art and painting since I was old enough to hold a paintbrush.

In sixth grade, I was asked to paint a mural on the wall of our elementary school.  I thought I'd grow up to illustrate children's books. Then I found myself working as a sales executive. Life, #amiright?

I picked up a paintbrush again just weeks before my mom passed unexpectedly. She was a big supporter of my art, and in the weeks leading up to her passing, she encouraged me to pursue it as a career.

What started as a creative outlet evolved into a means of navigating grief and transforming it into something beautiful. Fur Feathers and Flowers is a collection of heartfelt watercolors, herons, florals, and quiet moments, made to honor memory, spark joy, and help others feel seen.
